Our team is made up of individuals with a vested interest in player safety, development and confidence. Together they work to bring CoachedUp’s mission into existence.
Meet our team:
Angel Muhammad
Chief Executive Officer
Angel Muhammad handles operations and donations/fundraising activities for CoachedUp. She has 20 years of experience in the local and national Non Profit arena in youth sports, education/cultural development, Juvenile Justice and mediation/civil disputes. She has a 10 year history in Youth football, both as a parent and staff member, with two Sons playing since 5 years old, one already aged out and now a High School Sophomore Varsity football player and the other moving to the Junior Varsity level of youth football. During that time she has also acted as team Mom and Coach’s Assistant.
Alejandra Montenegro Executive Officer
Alejandra Montenegro handles camp/tryout and event coordination, planning and acts as the organization’s liaison with outside coaches, trainers and other event coordinators working with CoachedUp. She has worked in planning/coordination on both the Non Profit and corporate levels at various capacities for the past 8 years. She also has experience in youth football as both a parent and team mom/Coach’s Assistant with her son currently finishing up his 3rd season.
Tahiyyah Muhammad
Lead Coordinator
Tahiyyah Muhammad handles parent/player event registration, the organization’s social media and parent/player correspondence. Her main focus is keeping parents, youth and event participants informed of current and upcoming events. She manages the participant database and works closely with the rest of the team to ensure emergency contact information for each player is current. She is currently a college student, with a background in dance, music/voice and was a youth cheer coach. She ensures all contact information/emergency information are up to date.
