Coached Up Tackling U clinics are FREE tackling Clinics for youth and their coaches, teaching Shoulder tackling based on leverage, emphasizing the “Shoulder Punch” which is the safest, most effective method of making a tackle, enforcing team pursuit and gang tackling. Right now, we are using borrowed equipment, but as the clinics are becoming more popular, we are traveling further away and it is becoming more difficult to first travel to the city where we pick up the borrowed equipment and then go to the site. Many inner city programs are not as fortunate to have some of the items we bring, so they would not be able to benefit from a full set of equipment without me or my wife driving an additional 50 miles to pick up the items. 

In November, football season will come to an end and our access to these items may be limited but we would like to continue to offer the camps throughout the off season. 

We would like to branch out, offering scholarships, individual equipment (cleats, gloves, etc.) to top athletes to be able to compete in top level opportunities where finances have been their only obstacle. 

We would like to have Speakers come to these camps to talk to the boys about the importance of grades, composure during interviews, off field decision making, SAT Scores, NCAA eligibility and character building topics, but this comes at a cost as well.  I have done this for my league team and the youth response has been amazing. 

The only way to do this is to raise money to buy the needed equipment and fund other ideas that help youth in their journeys to higher level athletics and college educations. We are looking to buy  a multitude of bags, cones, flags, Shadowmen, footballs, various types of ladders and other equipment used in football drills. We have transportation and storage fees, Speaker fees, event costs, etc.
